Irrigation Technician Assistant
Basic irrigation services Inc is a well known commercial irrigation service company in Plainfield, IL. We’ve proudly served the Chicagoland area since 1991. Through our exceptional service we are excited to be growing!
All levels of experience are welcome.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not required (Required to be eligible for advancement to Service Technician)
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to take instructions from senior employees and service techs.
- Ability to work in changing conditions in the work environment.
- Background in landscaping and or irrigation preferred but not required.
Benefits:
- Starting pay $14 – $16 per hour

What do you need?
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability in using various hand tools
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices
- Commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to hook up and trailer equipment
- The work requires physical activity and the employee may be required to drive, stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
